Ausgrid’s purpose is to make electricity accessible for all. Our vision is for our communities to have the power in a resilient, affordable and sustainable future.
We know our success relies on understanding the needs of our customers and communities. One of the ways we make sure customer views are incorporated into our business operations is via our Customer Consultative Committee (CCC).
The CCC is made up of external customer advocates who represent a diverse mix of perspectives, customer representation and technical expertise.
Members of Ausgrid’s CCC help us to:
- Build investment decisions and outcome metrics that are customer focused.
- Give customers a meaningful and key advisory role in decision making across our projects and programs.
- Develop key policy and regulatory framework submissions with customers and customer representatives.
- Consider customers and communities in creating long term social value and mitigating social impacts in the delivery of products and services.
- Presenting a transparent performance scorecard to customers and being held to our promises.
