Belrose cable replacement project

Ausgrid has made the decision to pause civil works while we review our network requirements.  

We have assessed the serviceability of the existing underground cables, and we can feasibly pause works to undertake this review while maintaining the electricity supply. We expect to provide further information by the end of 2025.

In addition to consultation with the landowner, Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, the Ausgrid Project Team hosted community information sessions in Belrose for the local community to learn more about the proposed works and to provide feedback. Newsletters have been distributed to the local community and we keep our project status up to date on this page.
