We’re involved in community events across our network area from regional agricultural shows to local community fairs. Meeting with local communities provides an opportunity to share what we do and listen to customer feedback. Our teams are on hand to answer questions about energy saving, careers in energy, network local infrastructure programs and renewable energy. It’s one way we live our values and share our passion about safety, reliability, and the environment. 

We also host events to provide information about a specific project or program, such as our Depot Open Days, where we showcase our apprentice program. These days give young people a chance to see what working at Ausgrid is like and learn about different career paths. It’s a great way for us to support local jobs in the community and ensure we have skilled workers for the future.
